George contains records for Dahlgren Memorial Medical Library, however the medical library is not participating in the VR consortium. On order and in processing records are visible in the public catalog.

GOCard # is used for authentication. There are two numbers on the card. Use the 9 digit number which begins with the number 8 when requesting material from CLS.

Databases are available for searching by any patron when on campus. Off campus access is limited to Georgetown University faculty, students and staff with one exception: Alumni have remote access to Academic Search Premier through LibraryLink.

The library's e-reserves are now authenticated. For example, when clicking on course reserves in GEORGE (and elsewhere), you will be immediately prompted for NetID and password prior to searching by professor or course for the list of reserve books and e-reserves. Students will only be able to access e-reserves for the courses in which they are registered.
